Nazareth Fisheries is by size and stock, the largest commercial catfish farm based in Kumasi.
We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Hatchery Manager to lead catfish hatching operations during scheduled hatching cycles.

This role is strictly contract-based and required only during active hatching periods (approximately 25 days per cycle. The Hatchery Manager will oversee all technical hatchery processes and supervise assigned hatchery assistants.

Key Responsibilities:
• Broodstock selection and preparation
• Hormone induction, stripping, fertilization, and incubation
• Monitoring hatchery conditions (temperature, oxygen, hygiene)
• Supervision of hatchery assistants during hatching
• Disease and fungus prevention
• Accurate hatchery record keeping and reporting
• Submission of a final report after each hatching cycle

Work Schedule:
• Engagement only during hatching cycles
• Each cycle lasts approximately 25 days
• No duties outside agreed hatching periods
